Notes from the Builder’s Desk

Real reflections from Guy as he experiments, breaks things, and shares lessons while bringing Brunelly to life.

Vibe Coding Isn’t Bad, You Are

Vibe Coding Isn’t Bad, You Are

Most startups now splash AI on to all their marketing. AI is not your product. AI itself does not deliver business value. Unless you are a frontier lab, AI is nothing more than a tool in your stack.

This exercise was both for fun and a necessity. The orchestration system powering Brunelly, my AI tool, had gotten messy.

Why I Put Claude in Jail and Let Him Code Anyway

AI vibe coding is fun but chaotic. Here’s how I built a containerized orchestration system that turned Claude AI code generation into secure, production-ready workflows.

There’s another side to GPT5 that has bigger consequences: censorship, fact-checking, and how the system decides what you see.

Why GPT-5 Feels Like a Stranger

GPT-5 feels different. Not because of the model, but because of orchestration. Discover how routing agents, memory placement, and system tweaks change ChatGPT5’s tone, accuracy, and personality.

Common Questions

Absolutely. All code is stored in your Git repository, and you can review every line. Brunelly doesn’t just drop finished code, it commits each sub-step individually so you can see how it built your project, not just what it built. Think of it like having a transparent, AI-powered teammate who documents every move.
Right now, all data is hosted in UK data centres. During processing, some data is passed to AI providers for analysis, but the core hosting remains UK-based. In future versions, we’ll offer region-locked data centres for teams and enterprise users. For the beta, it’s all UK.

Brunelly runs on a credit system. You use credits for code generation.
There are three tiers, based on your project scale:

  • Testing out Brunelly
  • Small to medium projects
  • Large-scale builds

In the beta, you’ll still need to purchase credits to unlock the code generation feature, but everything else is open for you to explore.

Yes, and you should. You can upload files, context docs, or project specs to help Brunelly learn your project inside out. The more it knows, the better your user stories and generated code will be.

If you have any questions, need support or guidance, feel free to contact our team at hello@pinavida.co.uk

We want to hear about your experience with Brunelly, so please send us your thoughts, suggestions and overall experience on Product Board.

We’re primarily focused on solobuilders and teams who want to build real software. It’s not meant to replace Jira/Linear for enterprise teams, it’s about giving solo builders structure without hiring a full team. The wedge is the gap between “AI-generated snippets” and end-to-end, production-ready software.
Brunelly breaks down your ideas into clear tasks and user stories. It then runs multiple AI agents that write, review, and test the code step by step, pushing it directly to your Git repository. You get clean, structured, ready to use code without manually handling repetitive boilerplate.

We’re not forcing enterprise overhead. The methodology we mimic is really about reproducing best practices; clear requirements, iterative delivery, guardrails, not management. Brunelly is AI coordination across the full dev lifecycle, from requirements to PRs. It’s less about autocomplete and more about spec-driven, structured development. For indie builders, it’s more like having a virtual senior dev / technical co-founder orchestrating the workflow so you can ship faster and avoid rewrites. Most solo builders juggle messy notes, scattered docs, improvised AI prompts, half-written specs, and context-switching across multiple tools. Brunelly centralizes and structures that process: from idea → backlog → stories → code → PRs → deploy. Making shipping realistic without adding team overhead.

Yes. You can specify the tech stack for your project (e.g., React, Node.js, Python). Brunelly adapts the code it generates to match your preferences while following best practices.
Brunelly evaluates your requirements and generated code against completeness, clarity, test coverage, and maintainability. Scores above 85% indicate high-quality, production-ready outputs.
Absolutely. Brunelly works seamlessly with GitHub. Every commit is tracked, making it easy to review, revert, or continue development manually.
Yes. You can feed your current codebase and specifications into Brunelly, and it will suggest improvements, generate missing components, or update features while maintaining consistency.
Yes. Brunelly generates test cases alongside your user stories. This ensures your code is validated and reduces bugs before deployment.
Brunelly can help you take almost any web app or mobile app idea from concept to ready-to-use code. You provide the idea, and it creates clear tasks, features, user stories, and the actual code.
You don’t need to be a developer to use Brunelly it guides you step by step. If you do have coding knowledge, you can leverage it to build larger and more complex projects, making full use of Brunelly’s AI-powered capabilities.
Depending on your project size, you can start seeing refined user stories and task breakdowns in minutes. Code generation can take longer for bigger projects, but it’s all automated and tracked for transparency.
Yes. You can invite team members, assign tasks, and review generated code together. It works like having a full AI-powered development team supporting your human team.
Brunelly breaks down your inputs into clear tasks and stories, which you can review and refine before any code is generated. You’re always in control of what gets built.
Yes. It can suggest estimates for tasks and features based on complexity, helping you plan releases or sprints effectively.
You can always review and edit user stories, tasks, and code before finalizing. Brunelly is a guide and assistant you’re in control.
